   "I Do" Tuxedos started in 1992 in Bakersfield and became the fastest growing tux store in the southern San Joaquin Valley and today we sub rent all of our formalwear from the largest distributors of formalwear in the western United States and "I Do" Tuxedos is this company’s largest distributor in Bakersfield and the Southern San Joaquin Valley.

   In 1992 our store was a relatively new concept in that there was not an existing inventory as all rentals were and are sub rented from tuxedo wholesalers, within California. This concept proved viable because of the built in advantages to this new approach to a full service tuxedo store: "I Do" Tuxedos has access to multi-million dollar inventories without the cost of purchasing and maintaining the inventory; there is a pricing advantage for all clients of "I Do" Tuxedos which makes the store very competitive in a destination oriented business; there is a four day a week dedicated service route to Bakersfield by the wholesaler because of the success of "I Do" Tuxedos which allows the store to offer customer service to clients that is equal to or exceeds that of the stores competition.

   We have managed to maintain a "family" atmosphere in our store and our word of mouth advertising is by far our most valuable community asset. We have a large clientele of repeat customers and families that appreciate the service and detail that we provide each individual customer and wedding parties.
